FOUNDED IN 1933 BY ALVIN DROSTE, our company has built its reputation as a premier provider of construction services in St. Louis and St. Charles. Our longevity is a testament to 90 years of exceptional customer service and the commitment of four generations of Droste family ownership.
NATE DROSTE is President and Co-Owner of Al Droste & Sons Construction, and a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri. He holds a degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Kansas.
Nate has been involved with the company in some capacity since the age of 14 — whether it was working during summer break or when he was home from school. Prior to joining the family business full-time, and later, as a fourth-generation owner, Nate held roles as an engineer, project manager, preconstruction manager, and salesman for a national design-build firm. Today, he manages a variety of client projects, while leading the company’s sales and daily operations.

JEFF DROSTE is Vice President and Co-Owner of Al Droste & Sons Construction, and oversees a variety of the company’s projects and services. As Vice President, Jeff works with clients during pre-construction and initial project planning, as well as producing designs and estimates that meet specific project criteria.
Jeff is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia. During his senior year of college, Jeff also served as the Vehicle Chairman for Mizzou’s SAE Formula Car Team, where he participated in national and international competitions.
WE ARE A FULL-SERVICE GENERAL CONSTRUCTION FIRM employing our own group of union carpenters and laborers. We continually look for carpenters at the beginning of their careers so we can teach them “The Droste Way” of building, as well as seasoned carpenters and laborers ready to utilize their honed skills to bolster our crews.
